Yes, You Can Heal: The Secret to Transforming Illness and Creating Radiant Health by Diane Goldner is a great guide for overcoming any obstacle to healing. In this book, the author outlines how to use subtle energy for any condition —including cancer, heart disease, chronic illness, infertility, mystery illness, trauma, surgery, and other challenges—or simply to live a content, more vibrant life. Diane Goldner’s descriptions of healing sessions and healing techniques are detailed and encouraging. Throughout this book, the author helps us become aware of our own energy and how to practice energy healing in the best way for our highest good.
This is probably my all time favorite book on energy. In the last decade alone, I have read at least 150 books on healing, metaphysics, channeling, wellness, energy work and self help. I have even attended multiple in person energy healing training sessions, but still prefer this book.
Whether you are new to energy or looking to improve your energy healing capability, this book is for you. Diane, a celebrated journalist turned healer, has completed thousands of client energy healing sessions and has obtained a wealth of experience. She has skillfully condensed this knowledge into an easy to understand, hands on reference book. Diane’s writing style, which utilizes metaphors, helps us interpret what science is just beginning to figure out in regard to energy healing. I just wish this book had been around when I first starting learning about energy and energy healing in 2007. It certainly would have made my learning more efficient and fun.
In every day life, most of us are trying to overcome something personal, even when we are not aware of it and physically feel well. Self-esteem issues, emotional issues, spiritual issues and letting go of things, can cause underlying stress. This stress can cause illness that lies beneath the surface, waiting to erupt. This book is a wonderful resource in helping us understand ourselves, our bodies (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and even other people. Exercises in this book will help us identify issues before they present themselves as a physical problem.
Diane presents an exercise in the book called, “Being Present”. This is a simple guided meditation exercise that helps you bring more awareness to the present moment and your physical body. The following is an excerpt from her book:
- Close your eyes and go deeper with each breath.
- Allow yourself to be present with whatever is on your mind or in your heart. Just be in a state of awareness. Don’t try to think about or solve anything.
- If you have physical or emotional pain, allow it into your awareness. Don’t try to move away from it.
- As you maintain your awareness, keep focusing on your breath as you breathe in and out. Allow yourself to go continually deeper. Then go even deeper.
- When you are ready, gently come out of meditation.
If you are interested in becoming more aware of your body, alleviating mental, physical, spiritual or emotional pain or just want to know more about energy healing, I suggest purchasing this book. You will use it as a resource over and over again. Each time you pick it up, you will learn something new and useful. This is the perfect gift to give yourself.
