Chronic pain is a huge problem, not only in the United States, but also around the world. If you do not have chronic pain, there is a good chance you personally know someone who suffers from it. Almost one third of Americans have chronic pain and are searching for a better treatment.
As a healthcare industry veteran who knew how messed up the system could be, Brendon Lundberg believed there had to be a better way to solve this issue than the traditional medical system, which seemed to want to get sufferers hooked on painkillers without solving the root cause.
Eventually, he figured out the solution. He learned that pain is comprehended in the brain, and in order to solve the problem we need to treat the brain, rather than the site of the perceived pain. The early results of his work in chronic pain treatment were astonishing. The technique Brendon uses has been piloted by Johns Hopkins and resulted in a 91% reduction in pain (vs a 28% reduction in the control group provided with traditional treatment).
Radiant Relief: A Case for a Better Solution to Chronic Pain is Brendan’s guide for those suffering or treating chronic pain to understand the and fix the problem and end their pain by attacking the root cause without drugs, needles, surgery, or side effects.
Another option for chronic pain treatment
This book gives another option for chronic pain treatment, a possible answer. It starts off by explaining chronic pain, the complexity and the science behind it. The Gate Theory is described in great detail. Once you can grasp Gate Theory, the rest of the book is easy to understand. The majority of the book describes Scrambler Therapy, which is offered at the author’s Radiant Relief Centres. Included in the book are case studies that detail people’s personal experiences going through Scrambler Therapy at Radiant Relief Centres. Towards the end of the book, the authors describe the future of Chronic Pain Therapy. Here is an excerpt taken from their website and also found in the book:
“The epidemic of chronic pain and the failure of historical treatment methods to effectively address the problem are well documented in the literature and in the media. The US Surgeon General and the Center For Disease Control have both, independently, announced strong recommendations against using opioids as a treatment option for chronic pain. Yet, the other pharmaceutical, surgical, physical and CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) options are not much better.
At Radiant we’re working hard to change the way that chronic pain is treated. We believe that our therapy is The Future of Chronic Pain Treatment, because it:
- Uses no drugs, needles, surgery and is free of side effects.
- Is consistently effectively with patients typically experiencing significant relief in the first session.
- Becomes durable relief through following the recommended treatment protocol of daily sessions for 2-3 weeks and periodic booster treatments as necessary to maintain results perpetually.
- We average an 84% reduction in pain and more than 90% of our patients conclude therapy with zero or near zero levels of pain (0-3 on a VAS pain scale).
- Affordable for nearly all patients through our appealing payment models.”
Lundberg and Farley offer a different and safer way to treat chronic pain. When conventional and alternative treatments are not working for someone, they give people another choice.
