Let’s take a deep breath, and pace ourselves. We can’t see where we’re going right now but could feel like we urgently have to get there, and get easily irritated with whatever’s in our way. This fog bank comes as the Sun approaches confusing Neptune, while Mercury, now retrograde, appears to hold still before it turns direct on Sunday night. That spicy sense of urgency rises as Venus approaches a conjunction to impatient Uranus on Sunday.
These fog- producing aspects are expressing themselves through some political disorientation and stories of disease. A few of us will respond to these aspects with depression or by needing some quiet time out, a few others become more competent (or try to sound like they are) but some will try to crank down and try to control others with Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all now in Capricorn. This will be as true for the parent of a teenager as it is for governmental agencies. Control without wisdom is counterproductive, so let’s stay spacious, practice self-control, and step forward one step at a time it.
On Friday a rather melodramatic Leo Moon encourages us to express ourselves dramatically to get our point across, even if we don’t know what we’re saying. Watch hyperbole spin in the social media and television news. None of us can see very far ahead right now, but we can clearly describe what’s actually going on in the moment. If anyone tries to pontificate on the future of politics, disease, or economics, know they’re expressing their feelings rather than have a handle on the facts. We can also use that Leo panache with gentleness to find the grace notes in life even in an otherwise tough moment.
After a slow, if potentially emotional Saturday, on Sunday we may feel unusually aware of our vulnerability but guilty if we just need to rest or take care of ourselves, and this can manifest worry about COVID-19 and its emotional bow waves as the Sun conjuncts Neptune in Pisces under a Virgo Moon. The world is processing real fear around the permeability of our health and economy as we are reminded that we humans live in one world, we are one. This permeability can also work for us, and open us up to our creative Muse, to spirit, to our beloveds. We can soak up beauty as well as concern.
Our anxieties can crank up on Monday, under the full Moon in Virgo and as Venus conjunct’s Uranus and Mercury stations to turn direct in the evening. The faster we try to move, the more frustrating life will get, so let’s slow down and bring thoughts and actions back into coincidence. That Virgo full Moon can bring out our inner hypochondriac, so it’s important for us to focus, not on illness, but whatever strengthens our robust health. Look for interesting announcements about diseases and disease prevention, and deep debate on the best path forward for healthcare.
Venus is now in earthy, cozy Taurus which can help keep us grounded and strong if we reach for that comfortable solidity. As Venus conjunct Uranus she does remind us that songbirds return, crocus sprout, and women can make a difference. Flirtation and affection could weave through the weekend and support our immune systems. Those very things that seem silly in the face of the world’s woes also offer a healthy counterbalance so we can stay in there and do the work we need to do.
For the rest of the week it’s time to straighten out misperceptions, get organized, and get ready to launch a new chapter. On Wednesday reconnect with people that have fallen by the wayside, find out what’s been going on with them and get ready to walk forward as the Moon enters friendly Libra.
Friday, March 6: Navigate around rough bumps this morning; our needs can clash and we want things our way, but may not realize we can see the consequences of our actions just yet. Be wary of melodramatic decisions; though it can be hard to find the right words, reel those hyperbolic statements back in and decide only what needs to be decided in the moment. Appreciate a few wondrous moments, and be a calming influence.
Moon opposed Saturn 12:11 AM, Moon enters Leo 2:27 AM, Moon squares Venus 5 AM, Moon squares Uranus 9:05 AM.
Saturday, March 7: Dream the day away as the Moon makes no major aspects. Our imagination and intuition run strong, but anything else can get frustrating; egos tug at us, so do our hopes and fears, uncertainty billows like a cloud. Let’s put our imagination in a good place and be kind with one another. Share the focus of attention and stay in the present moment.

Sunday, March 8: Both our contemplation, our efficiency and our neuroses can build momentum as the waxing Moon enters Virgo, and the Sun conjunct’s Neptune exactly, and we can take these worries out on one another. Steer the mind away from worst-case scenarios or face them directly then move on. We can get lost in our imagination, so let’s make that a good place. Prayer, contemplation, creative process further.

Monday, March 9: Our mental hamsters can work over time under the Virgo full Moon at 11:47 AM, and as Mercury, Virgo’s ruler, turns direct tonight. Look too far ahead or behind, and get lost in phantasmagoria. Slow down, stay in the present moment, deal with what’s right in front, and good things happen. Even though we may feel a strong urge to fix things, let’s wait until tomorrow to put in resumes, send stories or sign papers. Prioritize health and digestion.
Moon trine Mars, Moon opposed Neptune 9:56 AM Moon opposed Sun 11:47 AM, Moon trine Jupiter 2:07 PM, Moon trine Pluto 7:23 PM. Mercury turns direct 9:48 PM.
Tuesday, March 10: Begin to diagnose and straighten out problems and misunderstandings (though this may take a few days) as Mercury begins to move forward. Some emotional dust begins to settle which allows for clearer thinking. Handle logistics, face concerns, check on and repair frayed relationships under a friendlier Moon in Libra.
Moon trine Saturn 2:32 AM, Moon enters Libra 4:02 AM, Moon opposed Chiron 11:05 AM.
Wednesday, March 11: Get the next project ready to launch as the Sun sextiles optimistic Jupiter and brings a few rays of sunshine and fresh possibilities. Use this ambient optimism to find solutions and clear the way, act on last-minute plans and get new proposals on the table. Engage great conversation tonight as the Libra Moon approaches a trine with Mercury in Aquarius, both talkative air signs.
Moon square Mars 6:05 AM, Sun sextile Jupiter 6:26 AM, Moon square Jupiter 1:47 PM, Moon square Pluto 6:40 PM.
Thursday, March 12: We need to focus, but our emotional intensity can strain relationships over the next few days as the Moon enters Scorpio, opposes Uranus this morning, and opposes Venus this evening. Logistics start to fall into place, we may experience a temporary resurgence of doubts, but can look at real and tangible problems with a more balanced view. Stay grounded around passing emotional storms or competitive moves.
